AD Users Synchronization

Activity Description​

Synchronizes A users/groups and their data with the Actions user list. The activity imports OUs, Groups, and Users information from Active Directory into Actions.

You may use the "AD Users Synchronization" template (residing under the Active Directory category) instead of creating it from scratch.

Output​

Success / Failure.

Settings​

  • Domain – The domain to which the users belong.
  • AD Users – The table from which to import the users, e.g. %ADSyncTable%.
  • Update existing – By default, if a user or a group already exists in Actions (created manually before synchronization), they will not be updated. When this is checked, existing users are updated.
  • Create New – When this checkbox is checked existing users are created.
  • Recursive groups – When a group is synchronized you may decide whether to synchronize the data recursively or not. When synchronizing the data recursively, sub-groups and user data are also synchronized.
  • Recursive OUs – When an OU is synchronized you may decide whether to synchronize the data recursively or not. When synchronizing the data recursively, user data in sub-OUs is also synchronized.
  • Field Mapping – A mapping of the Actions property to the AD property.
